Celebrating 13 Years of Quality Education

Health Care Training Center Spokane CNA School

Celebrating 13 years of quality education & dedication to our clients. Let us prove it to you.

As a privately owned vocational training facility, Health Care Training has been preparing students for NAC / CNA certification for almost 13 years! Longer than any other school in the area.

Health Care Training Center (HCTC) is Spokane’s premier health care education center and certification resource. ¬†HCTC is fully approved and licensed by the Washington State Department of Health, Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board.

We function at several levels. The first is the Home Care Aide program, where students participate in a 75 hour program to prepare them for the HCA Certification Exam that is required by the State of Washington. The majority of this program is completed online with only 12 hours of skills training taking place in the classroom.

The second level is the NAC program; a more detailed and advanced study. This program is 112 hours with a portion of the time training in a skilled nursing facility in actual patient care.

We offer additional and separate certifications in nurse delegation, nurse delegation with emphasis on diabetes, Mental health, and Dementia: manager and caregiver. We also offer continuing education, financial assistance and a variety of career resources.

Our Mission at Health Care Training Center

We believe that health care providers must have adequate training and the opportunity to learn the principles and practice skills needed to recognize the needs and provide quality care to their patients. Learning occurs in an atmosphere of mutual respect with questioning encouraged and opportunities provided to practice skills in the classroom and clinical setting under the supervision and guidance of experienced instructors. Our school lays a foundation for the basic training and the continued learning of a caregiver. Patients cared for have their needs met with respect, dignity, safety, independence and confidentiality. As as health care provider you are the patient advocate. By providing these rights you can be certain you have made a positive difference in that person’s life.

If your interested in pursuing a rewarding career in the healthcare industry, we encourage you to look over the various programs of study we offer to learn more.
